A Word About The Company
In May of 2002 after a year of planning, business
partners Thomas J. Bowyer and Ronald Bieszczad formed a
corporation that is known as BKTS Enterprises Inc. doing
business as
Gotti's Grinders. The initials stand for their children Brandon,
Kristen, Tyler and Sara. Our dream was to develop a
family restaurant that would operate in the fast casual
segment of the restaurant industry that would be
profitable, fun to operate and have the ability to grow
in the future.
The Search for the Best
Ron and Tom spent over a year visiting and assessing
the different restaurants in the industry. Our goal was
to take the best of the best and incorporate it into one powerful concept. After a year of traveling the east
coast and going to different trade shows the concept was
born Gottis. A fast casual restaurant focused on
grinders and pizza.
Why fast casual, grinders and pizza
one might ask: fast casual is a new and exciting segment
of the restaurant industry. The sandwich and pizza
categories cater to both the lunch and dinner guests that
want to get in and get out fast but want more upscale
environment than traditional sub and pizza joints. We
feel that we are achieving both and are excited about
serving our guests and working with our Team Members.
Our First Store Location
In October 2001, the quest for the perfect location
started. Many up and downs occurred over the next 9
months. Location, Location, Location was the battle cry
and after 100's of sites visits and to many phone calls
to count we found the perfect location for store number
one. The location was close to the four corners where we
had first started looking. The deal was worked in record
time and a lease was signed in July 2002 at 1437 Sam's
Drive in the Wal-Mart Way Crossing Center in space
124. The space 2600 square feet and on the end cap,
what more could a retailer ask for.
The first store opened in February 2003. The first of
many we hope and with all of our hard work and
dedication our dreams will come true.
